WELCOME 

All Democrats in Augusta County are encouraged to become a member and join our efforts at any time during the year.

The easiest ways are to:

• Support Democrats – Virginia has elections every year on the 2nd Tuesday of November. We nominate our candidates each year sometime between April and June. You do not need to be a member of the committee to participate in the nomination process. PLEASE VOTE in all Elections.

• Sign up for our Email List (form below) - Find out what’s going on through our emails. We send approximately 2-4 times per month.

• Monitor our Facebook or Website (links below) - Find out what’s going on through our social media pages, Newsletter, meeting notices, etc.

• Become a supporting member by clicking the DONATE button at the top of the page which will take you to our ActBlue donation form.   Dues provide the basis of our annual funds that help support our work. Dues are not required to participate in any activity but it helps us organize to elect more Democrats at every level of government. We also encourage and appreciate additional contributions in the form of donations to help support our work.

 

 

TO JOIN THE AUGUSTA COUNTY DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE, please choose one of the options steps:

 

Please refer to the below dues information to find out the suggested amounts for yearly dues of membership.

 

1. Come to or stop by a regularly scheduled meeting.  Monthly meetings are normally held at 7 pm at the Augusta County Government Center, Smith West Conference Room, on the first Tuesday of the month.

2. Print a Membership Form (click the red icon below for form) and bring it with a check to the next meeting, or mail it and a check to Augusta County Democratic Committee P.O. Box 593, Fishersville, VA  22939.

3. Pay your dues online through Act Blue (click DONATE button at top of page) and click on the GOOGLE FORM button below and complete the Membership Form online

 

 

The Augusta County Democratic Committee suggests voluntary annual dues to support the work and activities of the Committee in the amount of:

 

$30 per Person

$10 Student

All monies collected by the ACDC is used to advance the party’s primary goals of electing Democrats to office to represent us in local, state and federal government. Examples of expenditures include headquarters rent, insurance, WIFI, and mailing expenses, supplies for campaign activities, Get Out the Vote (GOTV), and voter registration, and reserving facilities for events.
