your registration, apply to ABSENTEE VOTE

BY MAIL, view your polling place,

election district. absentee ballot status.

and voting history  

If you turn 18 by November 5, 2024

you may register to vote at anytime during 2024 and

you may vote in both the Primary and General Election.


Voter registration; preregistration for persons 16 years of age or older, effective October 1, 2022


Beginning with the 2022 General Election, the General Assembly approved legislation that provides the ability to register and immediately vote by provisional ballot at any time up to and including election day.

We encourage all residents of Virginia to Register to Vote and participate in the Election process, this is your constitutional right and duty as a good citizen.
